Vidarbha, also called the epicentre of farmer suicide in India has seen drastic rise in number of suicides last year. “We don’t have any support from government “ says Mohinder, head of village.

•Creation of distributed service centers in different regions. •Each region having seven departments

•Irrigation•Crop Quality Enhancement •Personal Counseling Centre•Financial Counsel •Miscellaneous Service Centre•Employment and Vocational Training centre•Sanitation Service Centre.

•Each village having a booth centre where the villagers can state their problems. Special counseling centers will be set-up to contain the suicide issue .• Organic Farming will be promoted in villages at low cost using new technologies. This will solve many environmental problems

“Agriculture management is must to improve crop yield in India. This will ensure wholesome development of villages”, says Kamlesh, a poor farmer from Shriganganagar, Rajasthan.

Health Care•Expensive to build a hospital or a health centre in rural areas as it requires land and other state of facilities.

•Most of doctors don’t want to work in villages but prefer big cities and towns.

•Solution is to create mobile hospital services in vans.

•Idea of doctors working in shifts is feasible so that they are not tired of working as a Van Doctor. By the time his/her turn comes it will be at least six to seven months before being back in service.

•Lack of hygiene and sanitation is also a major concern in villages.

• For this we propose a federal network of sanitation service.
