• Viva Le Sport is a program that aim to engage famous sport players in different sports to teach young Roma and other disadvantaged youth how to play sports

• The program will be based to use the famous players for public benefit where they will teach young Roma and youth about the tools and techniques of sports and thus teach them about the beneficial role sport can play in their lives and their communities

• During the program with famous coachers and trainers the children and teenagers will receive talks from social workers and other experts on topics relating to leadership, team building, conflict resolution and youth engagement.

What is Viva le Sport?

Goals and Objectives

• Young Roma and youth will gain comprehensive hands-on knowledge of the fundamentals any sports from players who are famous and recognized by them

• Youth will gain confidence in working with groups of other peers through comprehensive workshops and expert talks.

• The program will increase the knowledge of planning, organisational and leadership skills necessary for youth to be included into the society and encourage them for further development in other fields.

What is Viva le Sport?

Who is it for?

• Young Roma or other youth age 6-18 around the world

• Sport players/ trainers who want to present their work for public benefits

• Companies that produce and sell sport equipment

• Government social centers that have responsibility to integrate Roma and other disadvantaged youth people.

Innovative

• Involvement of famous sport players/trainers to contribute for Roma and disadvantaged communities

• The program encourage young Roma trough different sport to think and find out about their dreams in life by offering unique possibilities to be trained by famous players.

• Working with famous players/trainers will inspire and motivate young people.

• The program will use the sport as tool to gather young Roma and disadvantaged youth and use the chance trough it to include parts in the program about leadership, team building, conflict resolution and youth engagement.

Transferability • Viva le Sport idea could be replicable everywhere in the world,

there is no geographically limitation

• The program is targeting the young Roma first, but could be replicable to other target groups of young people into the society

• In every country, famous sports players/trainers are recognized by most of the young people and they have credibility, young people want to spend time with them.

• Most of the famous players in the past now act as trainers and have opened a sport schools, providing the possibility these schools to involve Roma and other disadvantaged groups of youth.
