CITY OF MOSINEE NEWS

It is an exciting time to be in Mosinee. Mosinee has seen many positive changes in its recent past and is looking forward to more

in the near future. In the Central Wisconsin Business Park, Mosinee has celebrated expansions by Greenheck Fan Corporation,

Quast Consulting, AROW Gloval and Crystal Finishing and has welcomed the addition of Wisconsin Mechanical Solutions and Transport Refrigeration.

In our downtown business district, we have celebrated the addition of Mosinee Brewing Company and Cas Mezcal. We have also seen numerous businesses take advantage of our façade

improvement program to improve the face of their business. Outside of these business districts we are also focusing on other areas, including the development of our Hwy 153 East corridor.

We are welcoming the addition of O’Reilly Auto Parts on the former Ron & Lloyds site and we are actively pursuing the addition of a second hotel in addition to other business. In the mid- to long-term, the City plans to focus on revisiting it’s

comprehensive plan and targeting ideal property for a second business park. On the residential side, Mosinee has added 48 luxury style

apartment units with plans underway to double that amount. We have also approved the addition of 25 single family homes on the Wisconsin River and started the consideration of 42 townhome units in the same vicinity.

Mosinee continues to be a great place to work, live and raise a family. Whether for your business, your home or both, we welcome you to join us!

If you have any questions or would like additional information pertaining to the City of Mosinee’s current economic development activities, please contact Mosinee City Administrator Jeff Gates at

715.693.2275 or at [email protected].

VILLAGE OF KRONENWETTER NEWS

Construction is getting underway for the Old Highway 51 Bike

Path project. The Village will be constructing a 3-mile bike and

pedestrian path running parallel to Old Highway 51 from

Kowalski Road to Maple Ridge Road. The project is expected to

take approximately 2 months to complete. The trail will link the

existing paved multi-use trails at Maple Ridge Road and Kowalski

Road and is part of a phased approach to connect Rothschild to

Mosinee with bike and pedestrian friendly facilities.

Read more information here - http://www.kronenwetter.org/

American Asphalt and the Kronenwetter Public Works

Department recently finished resurfacing Old Highway 51. This

should make for a smoother drive on Old Highway 51.

If you have any questions, please contact our Community

Development Director, Randy Fifrick at 715-693-4200 or
