Champion Holiness Missions Donna, TX December 2014 On Thanksgiving Day, a semi- trailer loaded with church pews, school supplies, personal hygiene items, toys, candy, etc., was on its way to Champion Holiness Mission in Donna, Texas. Vehicles carrying willing workers to make the “Christmas for Mexico” possible were also in route. Over the next week, numerous trips were made across the border for special Christmas services, where first the gospel was preached, and in conclusion, gifts were given to the children, and to the pastors and their families. The highlight of these services was to see God touch hearts in the altar. The South Texas Missions Convention began the following Tuesday morning, and continued through Thursday Night. In the morning services, Bro. Darrell Brewer did an outstanding job of preaching, along with testimonies and preaching from missionaries that were present. In the evening services, God mightily anointed Bro. David Webb to deliver God’s message for the hour. This was a great time of spiritual refreshing for all who were present. Adjacent to the property presently owned by Champion Mission, is a five acre parcel that we have felt was needed to fulfill the vision of having a youth camp, and for future expansion. During this meeting, the Holy Ghost impressed upon Brother Webb that God was going to make the purchase of this property a reality. Faith arose in hearts as we laid hands on the wall closest to the property and prayed that God would fulfill His will. Since that time, God has moved upon key individuals to be the means through which this would be brought to pass. The contract has now been signed to secure the purchase of this land. Approximately $8,000.00 is still needed for the balance of the purchase price and for closing costs. If you or your church would like to help, you may send offerings to: Champion Holiness Mission P.O. Box 384 Bloomburg, TX 75556 Improvements continue as the Lord enables. Beautiful carpet has now been laid in the church. New sliding gates have been installed in front of the mission compound. The warehouse area now has a nice suspended ceiling and air conditioning. After the purchase of the five acres is finalized, we plan to make improvements to accommodate outdoor activities during youth camp. Champion Mission Holiness Youth Camp March 11-13, 2015 Bro.
