Data collection points are numbered from the driver to the driven. On electrically driven equipment, all
data collection points will always start at the bearing nearest the closed end of the drive motor and will
always be considered point number 1. The next bearing will always be considered point number 2 and
so on down the power transmission train. Field labeling is not required.
