What is changing? Booklet reference

Every year, Allianz Global Assistance helps many Australians travel with a wide range of existing medical conditions. Pre-existing medical conditions include any past or present illnesses, injuries or conditions which may have/had a temporary or permanent effect on your health or wellbeing. Cover is not provided for all pre-existing medical conditions by the Group Policy issued to ANZ. Insurers have different risk criteria which they apply to such conditions. Other than for those pre-existing medical conditions listed in the booklet where you meet the criteria for cover, you will need to apply for confirmation of cover before going overseas for any other pre-existing medical conditions you have, each time you travel. If you, your spouse or your dependent children travelling with you have any pre-existing medical conditions, please call Allianz Global Assistance on 1300 135 271 to complete a medical assessment and to obtain confirmation that your pre-existing medical condition is covered for your upcoming journey.

We are bound by determinations made by it in accordance with its relevant terms and rules applicable to us. Any complaint or dispute can be lodged with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority: Online: www.afca.org.auEmail: [email protected]: 1800 931 678Mail: Australian Financial Complaints

Please note this change is effective immediately.
