• Company ECDIS procedures - complies with Flag State and Class requirements and inspections.

• Company ECDIS procedures - complies with Ocimf and Port State requirements and inspections.

• Giving evidence that vessel being navigated in safe manner.

• Five different checklists that supports the above.

• Software layout of web solutions

• Procedures on how to order charts

• User friendly towards endusers

• Pricing

• Availibility, how quick does supplier respond to requests

• Technical problem solving and support

Result so far since start up October-13

• None deficiencies related to update/correction of charts

• No break down of ECDIS units, all vessels has three ECDIS

• No near accidents that were caused by Navigational errors

• Company has had 63 Oil major vetting inspections with ECDIS as primary navigational source. 6 observations received related to usage of ECDIS or Chart handling

Result; - 4 observations due to user making error in planning - 2 observations due to Software issue

But most important of all Masters and Officers are trusting the ECDIS and supporting Chart system.
