Ya'acob Yitzchac Horowitz,the Chozeh (Seer) of Lublin, and other great Chassidic leaders. His mentor revealed to him that he stemmed fromthe tribe of Yisachar, and hence entitled his famous work Bnei Yisachar. He served as rabbi of a number of PolishJewish communities, the last ones being Munkatch and Dinov. He became a Chassidic leader in 1815 / 5575.
R. Shmuel b. R. Avraham Borenstein was the son of the Admor of Sochachov and was born in 1856 in Kotzk. Hewas his father's right hand and taught in the Sochachov yeshiva. In 1910 he became Admor (rebbe) upon hisfather's demise. He died in 1926.
