Breathing problems
Asthma
Asthma- narrowing of the airway do to exposure to allergens, stress or exercise
Giving inhalers:- Shake - Put med in chamber- Remove cap off mouthpiece- Attach spacer- Tilt pt. head back & breath out slowly- Place in mouth- Push down med & take deep breath- Hold for 10 seconds & breath out

Assisting a victim with breathing issues
Scene safety? Medication ? Give inhaler 911-if no meds, does
not improve w med, breathing gets worse
