2 The types of robots are varied, relying on usages and applications.
For example, as for combat robot, there are tank-type robot roll-
ing on caterpillars and biped walking robot such as Asimo made in
Japan and Hubo made in Korea. The robots on use at home have
the look(s) of a microcomputer moving on wheels. The most typical
home robot is robot cleaner.
Let’s make a robot which is movable on wheel.

Drive Mode (Mode 1) is opted for when con-
trolling automobile type model. The 4 buttons
at the center are opted for directions. The 2
buttons at the top in each side are for speed
control. For speed increase, press F1 button;
for speed decrease, press F2 button. The
button at the core encircled by 4 directional
buttons is opted for return to standard speed.
