    Delhi RC-2 was established in 1998-99 and the enrollment was 6425 students. In it’s a long span of16 years the enrollment at RC declined only thrice. The enrollment trend shows an upward trendcontinuously after 2010-11. The RC has 21.52% overall average growth rate and it has contributed7.18% students in total enrollment of IGNOU. At this RC, Bachelor Degree Level Programmes areleading among the other level of programmes with 48.74% share followed by Masters DegreeProgrammes with 43.57% share in total enrollment at RC.

    Dehradun RC was established in 1999-00 with the initial enrollment of 2647 students. We findconsiderable growth in enrollment in the next year but it declined by 11.35% in 2001-02. For the nexttwo years, growth rate maintained upward trend but again declined by 5.6% in 2004-05. During thenext three years i.e. from 2005-06 to 2007-08, we find upward movement in enrollment pattern butagain it declined by 29.48% in 2008-09. From 2009-10 to 2011-12, growth rate was showing upwardtrend but again declined in 2012-13 and 2013-14 by 23.35% and 13.51% respectively. From 1999-00 to 2015-16, we find a peculiar pattern in growth rate of enrollment as after every two or threeyears, the growth rate declined. The overall average growth rate at this RC is 12.40% and DehradunRC has the share of 1.27% in of the total enrollment of IGNOU. At this RC, Bachelor Degree LevelProgrammes are leading with 47.52% share in the total enrollment of RC followed by Master DegreeLevel Programmes with 27.29% and Certificates Programmes with 12% share.

    Regional Centre : RANCHI - 32

    Ranchi RC was established in 2000-01 and it had enrollment of 12770 students. In initial five years,the growth rate of enrollment was very positive. In 2004-05, there was tremendous growth inenrollment by 78.80%. In 2006-07, the growth rate declined by 15.48% but picked up by 84% in thesubsequent year. But after that the enrollment declined significantly up to 2012-13. The decliningtrend is most significant in 2010-11 and 2012-13. During these years, the enrollment declined by31% and 30% respectively. But in 2013-14 the enrollment picked up by 20.26%.
