TRYON RIDING & HUNT CLUBDear Exhibitors and Supporters of the TR&HC Charity Horse Shows,

We appreciate all of the support we received last year as we added new show dates to our schedule. Your participation helped further the Tryon Riding & Hunt Club’s mission of preserving the equestrian tradition and giving back to the community. We’re happy to once again offer 4 weeks of showing at Fence in conjunction with JP Godard and Equus Events.

as in 2011, June’s Week I will offer a $3,000 Welcome Jumper on Thursday, a $25,000 Grand Prix on Saturday night and our Charity Jumper Challenge will take place Friday under the lights. This charity event was a resounding success last year, and this year we plan to have even more teams competing to benefit our local charities. Week II in July will offer a $3,000 Welcome Jumper, a $2,500 USHJa National Hunter Derby and a $15,000 Grand Prix.

The Prix in Week III has been upgraded to a $10,000 class and the jumpers will remain in the Main Ring instead of moving to the covered arena.

as always, you can expect to receive TR&HC’s standard of Southern hospitality with the return of live music to our featured parties, excellent food, and fierce competition. Our hospitality tent will be open during all of our feature classes for each of the three weeks.

Also for your convenience we have changed our policy regarding prize money; monies won will now be applied to your bill.

We hope you’ll once again make Tryon a destination on your summer show schedule!

Sincerely,Jennifer Smith & Linda Ketcham, Co-Chairs
