Are you aware that Charles Saunders are one of the biggest and longest esablished !sh merchants in the Southwest. We have been selling fresh and frozen !sh for over 100 years. Our business started as !shmongers in the centre of Bristol many years ago.

Fish is still one of the most important sections of our business and we have knowledgable sta" who buy and sell fresh !sh all through the year. We buy our fresh !sh from many markets in the UK including Bideford, Looe and Newlyn but we also buy !sh from all over the world including Greece, Turkey, Holland, France and the Far East.

We have skilled !sh mongers who work though the night preparing your !sh to your individual requirments. We also have holding tanks and keep live crab and lobsters 52 weeks of the year.

From Frozen: Deep fry in oil at 180°c for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown and thoroughly heated.

FJ Need (foods) Limited is a family run business established in 1973 by the late John Need and is currently run by his son Paul Need. After 21 years of expansion and upgrading the company moved to Spinneyfields Farm, the name taken from its established brand of selected cheese, in the heart of dairy land on the outskirts of Nantwich in Cheshire.

Behind its rural appearance, Spinneyfields Farm hides some of the latest technology with a purpose built state of the art grating line. The range of grated and diced products have been specially formulated for the pizza, manufacturing, catering and wholesale markets.

Our purpose built premises have been specially designed to identify and control high risk areas where correct air pressures, temperatures, cleaning procedures and materials can be strictly monitored. This is shown by the Efsis Higher level that has been retained since April 2000. All cheese is tested on arrival for body, texture, flavour, aroma and appearance and where appropriate

From our strategic North West base, our fleet of temperature controlled delivery vehicles distribute goods the length and breadth of the UK on a scheduled delivery service. Nobody appreciates more the need for efficiency. That is why we ensure our operation has an unrivalled reputation for reliability.
