From one of them is Ardhnarinateshwara temple, this temple is also known as Harneshwara temple. This ancient monuments i.e.,Harneshwara temple is important for to provide history related information of Maharashtra at that time also according to expert this monument will promote truism and improve revenue as well as offer job for locals. The aim of this paper to make one checklist for its maintenance and repair work approach. This Harneshwara temple consist of some small temple near to it. In this paper checklist provided will helps with concept and methodological guideline which derived scientifically derived conclusion to conservation of this structure. Result may varies with different concluded remark e.g. only structural review, need to repair or only make strengthen. This checklist also important because of improve the existing condition of the monuments. For make structure as it is, required their rehabilitation, repair some portion and strengthen of collapsible part is the key of sensitive aspect of conservation. Introduction India is country which fulfill with different types of tradition different culture home for different religions various form of arts i.e. separate drawing methods various sources of literature in construction also unbelievable developed architectural views etc also it may includes forts caves ancient tomb structures old temples etc. to see the nature and recent condition of this historical places it may leads towards avoidable degree of degradation decay less maintenance hence to conservation required to this sites proper maintenance and adopting rehabilitation work is the only way to prolongation of the buildings life span. The guideline provided by ASI is different and varies from place to place due to various method or combination of methods it tends to complex also it depends on properties important as state level. To study of historical monuments like Harneshwara Temple is important to grow up interest towards construction history and provides quick information and ancient era experience on past method of construction here adopting method of construction is in Hemadpanthi Type nature. Before decide format of checklist we carried one small survey at velapur village near to Harneshwara Temple and collect data related to thei occupations effect of tourist visited on their income and revenue generation their awareness about temple their conservation about government efforts temple characteristics which attracts tourist for visit etc the villagers directly affected and comes under influence directly due to tourist activities .due to many factors like ecology poor maintenance less fund supply for conservation work due to this structure comes under detoriation the basic cause to happen this less awareness how to maintain historic structure no time to time investigation never use of new methods of rehabilitation uneven carried out survey etc are the few cause of them hence according to this survey it concluded that this old temple tends towards fresh conservation or rehabilitation work. here required some good method for checking damage as well as provide solution in terms of repair technique to this Harneshwar temple according to this method generate a method its result which applicable similar for various monuments present near to this sites specially mentioned here local peoples are aware about the importance of tourism but less knowledge about structural damage handling tourist were not interested to stay or spend more time to in this location hence as per guideline Harneshwara temple should be kept under continues observation the Harneshwara temple are still stand as evidence of ancient of past Indian way of structural building and techniques and help the present in reconstructing past society for the future. Abstract: The ancient structure present in Maharashtra state likes caves forts wadas old temples etc play measure role to improve traditional and cultural value of the state. From one of them is Ardhnarinateshwara temple, this temple is also known as Harneshwara temple. Study Area Harneshwar Temple, Velapur, Maharashtra, India

Harneshwarmahadev temple famous for lord Ardhanarinateshwara (Mahadev) which is located at velapur situated in solapur district in malshiras taluka. This temple was built by Raja Ramchandra (1271 to 1310 A.D.) Temple form is in Hemadpanthi type of construction, All side of this temple are protected by providing protection wall with protective nets and floor is coated with stone tiles for achieve cleaning purpose so this area fulfil with some other monuments as well as old temples named as follows, Ambabai temple, Kanchan mahal, Naath temple, Khandoba temple .This temples comes under site of Archeological Survey Of India (ASI) In this temple some other interesting shilpa (Carving) are present as a Mahanandi which constructed same time of temple , it may created under single stone is located in front of main door. This Mahanandi is different in size also shape than the common one. Another thing is gajlakshmi stone carving present on top of main door, it provides instead than the Ganesh ji.

Result and Discussion By observations of the study area we have managed to create one checklist which will help to keep the record and the

maintain process to its simplest ways. Following table, no 1 and 2 content the checklist questions. The checklist prepared will be helpful during conservation of ancient Harneshwar temple and in future to observe the condition of it before starting the conservation work.
