The core principals to remember include:

Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds regularly (recommended every hour) with soap and water, including before and after eating and after going to the toilet.

Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds before handling food and after handling items another has used. eg: clearing a table.

Hands of people handling food should be kept clean at all times and nails should be kept short, clean and unpolished.

Cuts or wounds on the hands of people handling food should be completely covered by suitable waterproof band aids, dressings or gloves.

Good hand hygiene is essential to help reduce the spread of dangerous infectious diseases.

Attention Food HandlersFood handlers should correctly wash their hands for at least 20 seconds:

• before you begin work

• before the handling of food

• after handling raw food

• after going to the toilet

• after sneezing, coughing, eating, drinking, smoking or blowing their nose

• after handling soiled equipment and/or utensils

• after touching their mouth, hair, nose, ears or any other parts of their body

• after engaging in any activities that may contami-nate their hands. (e.g. cleaning and sanitising duties, handling cash, removing waste etc.)

Kitchen Food Surface Sanitisation

PROCEDURE CHART

Chemform’s No Rinse Sanitiser is safe to use on Food Contact Surfaces & Food Utensils and Equipment (e.g. dishes, cutlery, slices etc.). Refer to product information sheet for more information.

Note: If you are diluting a concentrated No Rinse Sanitiser into a spray bottle; To ensure optimum efficacy, only prepare diluted solutions with potable water in clean, dedicated spray bottles. Dirty or contaminated spray bottles will reduce the performance. This does not apply to Ready To Use (RTU)

version of the product.

Step 1: Surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned prior to sanitising with a detergent or degreaser. Rinse with clean potable water. Leave hard surfaces to air dry.

Ideal products: Hard Surface Cleaner #15, HD Cleaner #10, Red Barron, Sapphire Spray & Wipe #1 & Elbow Grease. Follow label directions.

SMELLYBINS

MAGNUMMagnum is an all-purpose cream cleanser containing a mild abrasive which can be used in kitchens, bathrooms and housekeeping areas.

Magnum may be used safely for cleaning stainless steel, aluminium, enamel, porcelain, plastic and painted surfaces.

DESTAINER #13 Thickened bleach - removes dirt, mould, stains and kills germs. Combines in a single product, a cleaner and chlorine disinfectant. Surfaces treated with De-Stainer 13 are left clean and germ free.

Excellent cleaning properties enable De-Stainer 13 to cut through difficult soils and stains, particularly effective in removing unsightly fungus and mould.
