ACCESS TO CARE!•Our broker suggested we open a on-site clinic•TPA had been using on-site health & wellness clinics for 6 years•We looked at 3 models and then decided to go with the cost-basis model with an administrative fee for management services. All direct costs of operating the clinic are passed through to the city on a direct basis. •Initial set-up cost vary depending on construction of the clinic. Some client use existing space with modifications; others have created or renovated a new space. The mi-Care clinic requires space for 2 exam rooms, a small lab, bathroom, doctor’s office and a reception area.
