Four types of childcare
Childcare Center:care children in groups, centers are located in churches,
houses, community centers and buildings designed especially for childcare
Family Childcare Providers: care for children in the provider’s home, and it must to
be licensed. Providers must also have a criminal records check

Home Caregivers:home caregivers provide care for children in the child’s home.
They may be live-in or live –out nannies or housekeepersCare Provided by Relatives:

Role and responsibilities of ECE Training in the US
Child care workers operate in a variety of settings, most frequently a daycare center.
In the USA, though requirements vary from state to state, a high school diploma or its equivalent is usually the only education necessary.
Preschool teachers typically work with children from age two until they're ready for kindergarten.
For administrative positions, however, a child development certificate or associate degree is generally the minimum requirement.
Role and responsibilities of ECE Training in Ontario
ECEs are responsible for planning and organizing activities that protect and promote children’s intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth.
A registered member of the College of Early Childhood Educators to call yourself an Early Childhood Educator or a Registered Early Childhood Educator in Ontario.
To qualify for membership with the College, you must have, at minimum, an ECE diploma from an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology (OCAAT) or the equivalent.
Conclusion
Types: Both childcare centers and family childcare should be
licensed. Children in home caregivers and care provided by relatives are taken care by housekeepers and relatives respectively in home.
History: A European mother was the initiator of ECE in the USA.
Thanks to Industrial Revolution, people found it's an effective and safe way to take care of children.
Philosophy: Montessori Method is a common technique in ECE.These
two countries believe that each child should be seen as a whole child.
Availability and Accessibility: American ECE takes care of children from 3 months to 12
years old. Based on each child's situation, it divides as family child care, after school program, kindergarten and sick child care.
Role of ECE and its training: ECE in the USA enhances children various abilities for
their school and lives. Also it solves social problems for employed parents and provides more positions for workforces.
