Child Labour=Slavery?Slavery and Child labour are very different. And i will give some arguments of my opinion.First of all i will explain what Child Labour is and what slavery is.

Child Labour: It means making children work affecting them physically and emotionally. Many children died working in factories or in farms. The adults made their kids work so the factories paid them.

Slavery: they forced black people to work in farms, plantations, houses, etc. They didn't paid them.

The differences were that to the children they paid to their parents and the slaves they didn't paid them. The blacks couldn't choose they have to do what white people said. Also that the blacks were slaves because only for being blacks and the children that worked were black or white.

Children ´s rightsFor me the 5 more important kids rights are:

1.The right to give their opinions and to be listen when they need help

2.The right to be loved and not hit or torture

3.The right to be protec of dangerous or bad things or people

4.The right to have an education, go to school.

5.The right to have a family and not be sold.

Child labour in UzbekistanUzbekistan is big exporter of cotton, they get a lot of money exporting it. But this is not all, 3 months per year they close many schools and they send the kids of 10 years old or youngers to pick up cotton, and on the growing season they are made them put a pesticides to the crops. They receive very little money. The government said to the headmaster of the school how much the children have to work and if one children did less work than the others this one had a punishment, sometiemes they are hit. If kids refuse to do this work they got out of the school. Kids end very tired doing all this work and also some children died because of the diseases that are their. Even a girl suicide because a punishment they put to her because she didnt do all her work.

Cotton and childrenThis is a quote that i found in this page http://enews.fergananews.com/articles/2577 of what some supervisors said to some journalists that were investigating that place.

. "The students of 6-7 grades are working in this field. At the next fields you will find high school students and the crew of teachers. We all have to collect certain volume of cotton. If we fail to do so, we will not get 13th salary. The middle school students are here voluntarily. It is perfect that they work for the good of the state",

Industrial Revolution and The cotton plantationsIn my opinion what is happening in this country is very similar of what happened in the industrial revolution because they both forced children to work. Nowadays we study what happened in the industrial revolution and we all get surprise and we start criticizing what people did,but we don't realize that this is still happening, that we are still living in a world that do not respect children's rights. That crazy things are still happening like get a children out of a school because of not working well, what's that? we are still living in a world that do not respect children and that do not respect their rights.

Page 9: Child labour today

I WAS SURPRISED ….I was surprised that child labour is still happening. When in class we saw a video i thought that what people did was a crazy thing that anyone now could do that, but when i read what is now happening in Uzbekistan, i could not believe that people is still doing this.

Page 10: Child labour today

I LEARNED THAT...I learned that children were very bad treated and that people did not care of their feelings or problems they only care about having money for themselves.

Page 11: Child labour today

I AM BEGINNING TO WONDER...I am beginning to wonder who much time will this continue, because is something that is horrible and something that should stop now because more and more children will continue suffering.

Page 12: Child labour today

I now realize… I do not agree with….

I now realize that this is still happening. I thought that child labour existed a lot of time ago but now a realize that this is happening now too.

I do not agree with people that make children work because they are not respecting them and they are not respecting their rights
