China Logistics Industry Prosperity Index jointly issued by China Federation of
Logistics and Purchasing for May 2020 was 54.8%, 1.2% higher than previous month;
China Warehousing Index was 50.4%, 0.1% higher than previous month.

CTSI index in May realized positive growth for the first time since this year
On June 12, China Academy of Transportation Sciences issued China Transport
Services Index (CTSI). In May, the decline in transport production continued to narrow.
The freight index has achieved positive growth for the first time since this year, and the
passenger transport index has exceeded 50% for the first time.

Hong Kong SAR Government introduces preferential tax policies for ship
leasing
The Hong Kong Legislative Council passed the 2020 Tax Relief on Ship Leasing Bill
(Amendment) on June10, introducing preferential tax policies to promote the ship leasing
business in Hong Kong.
The State Council extends tax relief measures to the end of this year
The State Council has clearly announced to extend the existing measures to exempt
the value-added tax on public transport and other services, reduce and exempte the Civil
Aviation Development Fund and Port Construction Fees to the end of this year.

Hong Kong SAR Government updates Ship Pollution Regulations
The Hong Kong SAR Government will amend relevant provisions to incorporate the
latest provisions of IMO International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from
Ships into local legislation.

50,000 DWT VLGC to carry LPG in the Middle East
The ocean-going VLGC "CHINAGAS LEGEND", which can carry 84,000 cubic
meters of liquefied petroleum gas, left for the Middle East on June 3 and will return home
fully loaded with 84,000 cubic meters of liquefied petroleum gas.
"CNTIC VPOWER GLOBAL" becomes the first LNG carrier berthed in
Myanmar
On June 6, "CNTIC VPOWER GLOBAL", the 28,000 m3 LNG carrier built by Dalian
Shipping Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., successfully berthed in the Rangoon Port, Myanmar,
becoming the first LNG carrier berthed in Myanmar, and also the first LNG import
completed in Myanmar.

New business line of shuttle bus in Guangzhou Port completed its maiden
voyage
On June 10, the “shuttle bus” "BAIFU 258" in Guangzhou Port set sail from Nansha
phase II Wharf, and successfully completed its maiden voyage.
Liaoning Port Group opens two foreign trade container routes
On June 10 and 11, "SITC Jilong" and "HANSA COBURG" berthed at the container
terminal of Dalian Port successively, marking the official opening of the two foreign trade
routes.
World's largest LNG-powered vehicle ro-ro ship started its maiden voyage
On June 16, Siem Confucius, the world's largest LNG-powered vehicle ro-ro ship
built by Xiamen Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., loaded with more than 4,800
vehicles from Emden, set off for Mexico.

voyage in Shanghai
On June 19, “COSCO Shipping XING WANG” loaded with 11,000 cubic meters of
equipment set out from Shanghai Port and embarked on its first voyage to Brazil.

A new 60,000 DWT river-sea bulk carrier built by New Ocean Shipbuilding
delivered
Recently, the 59,990 DWT river-sea bulk carrier "RONG DA SHANG HAI" built by
New Ocean Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. under SUMEC, was successfully named and
delivered.
Two 8,000 DWT ships built by Wuhu Shipyard completed trial voyage
From May 31 to June 1, two 8,000 DWT bulk carriers No.2 and No.5, built by Wuhu
Shipyard Co., Ltd. for Indian shipowner JSW company successfully completed the trial
voyage and launching.

Shipbuilding delivered
Recently, “CSSC CAPE TOWN”, a new generation of Mini Cape bulk carrier
independently developed by China, was delivered in Nansha Free Trade Zone,
Guangdong Province.
Zhoushan-Changshi Shipbuilding secures the order of 3 Kamsarmax bulk
carriers
Recently, Changshi Group (Zhoushan) Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has received orders for
3 Kamsarmax bulk carriers from its existing customer MX Bulk.
New Times Shipbuilding wins orders for 4 Suezmax oil tankers
New Times Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. received newbuilding orders for four 158,000 DWT
Suezmax oil tankers from two European shipowners. The price of each new ship is $52
million, and all new ships are scheduled to be delivered in 2022.

Tiger Gas orders ten LNG tank deck ships in Yangzijiang Shipbuilding
On June 2, Tiger Gas signed a construction contract with Jiangsu Yangzijiang
Shipbuilding Group for two LNG tank deck ships (including eight optional ships), marking
a key step in the development of Tiger Gas LNG tank supply chain.
Construction started for environmentally friendly luxury ro-ro passenger ship
On June 2, the NO.1 2,370 passenger / 3,850 meter luxury ro-ro ship, built by
Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited for Moby, a subsidiary of the Italian
Onorato Shipping Group, started its construction.
First 6,500 m3 ethylene carrier built by Jinling shipyard to be delivered
On June 2, KUN SHUN, the first 6,500 cubic meter ethylene carrier built by China
Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Nanjing), successfully completed its sea trial.
No.9 325,000 DWT ore carrier built by Dalian Shipbuilding started sea trial
On June 4, No. 9 325,000 DWT ore carrier built by Dalian Shipbuilding of CSSC for
SK Shippingsuccessfully completed the underwater periodic task in only 40 days, and
started a six-day sea trial.

Industry undocked
On June 6, the second 32,5000 DWT ore carrier built by Beihai Heavy Industry
(BSIC) for U-Ming Marine Transport Corp was successfully undocked.
Yangzijiang Shipbuilding wins orders for two Handymax bulk carriers
It is reported that Shanghai Ganglu Shipping Co., Ltd. has signed a contract with
Yangzijiang Shipbuilding to build two 56,000 DWT Handymax bulk carriers. Shanghai
Ganglu Shipping will pay about RMB 150 million (about 21.2 million US dollars) for each
ship.
NACKS secures two orders for bulk carrier
Masumoto Shipping, a Japanese shipowner, signed a shipbuilding contract with
Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering (NACKS) to order two 82,000 DWT Kamsarmax
bulk carriers, which are scheduled to be delivered in 2021.

On June 8, China Merchants Jinling Shipping (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. officially started the
FL5800 ro-ro ship for Finlines Plc, a subsidiary of Grimaldi Group in Italy.

On June 8, the 62,000 DWT multi-purpose pulp carriers N1007 and N1008 built by

Carriers Co., Ltd were put on shipway on the same day.
DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry delivered 82,000 DWT bulk carrier
On the morning of June 10, the 82,000 DWT bulk carrier "GOLDEN FORWARD"
built by DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry for the Norwegian shipowner
SEATANKERS was delivered successfully.

CRCC ordered crane ship in Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry
China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (CRCC) has
ordered a 2,200 DWT crane ship in Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.,
scheduled to be delivered in July 2021, with a total contract value of RMB 200 million
($28 million).
210,000 DWT bulk carrier "MARAN ENDREVOUR" built by Waigaoqiao
Shipbuilding delivered
On June 12, the third 210,000 DWT bulk carrier "MARAN ENDRVOUR" (H1454),

On the morning of June 13, "Del Monte rose" (H5540), a 600 FEU container ship

9,900 DWT stainless steel chemical ship built by Yangzhou Jinling Shipyard
completed trial voyage
On June 14, No.4 9,900 DWT stainless steel chemical carrier built by Yangzhou
Jinling Shipyard for Norwegian shipowner completed the trial voyage and berthed at
Jinling terminal, Yangzhou.
2,700TEU container ship built by Zhoushan Changhong International Ship
Building launched
On the afternoon of June 14, the first 2,700TEU container ship built by Zhoushan
Changhong International Ship Building Co., Ltd. was launched successfully.

On June 15, 10,000 DWT full electric propulsion deck carrier "BRAVEWIND" built by
Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard Co., Ltd. for German shipowner was successfully launched.
No.1 38,000 DWT duplex stainless steel chemical ship completed trial
voyage
On June 16, NO.1 38,000 DWT duplex stainless steel chemical ship, built by Hudong
Zhonghua Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for ODFIJELL completed trial voyage, and returned to
the factory.

On June 17, JNS165, HAMBURG CITY, built by Jiangmen Nanyang Ship
Engineering was delivered, and set to sail at noon on that day.
1,500teu container ship H5654 built by Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding
completed trial voyage
On the morning of June 17, the third container ship H5654 of 1,500teu series built by
Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding for Greek company COSMOSHIP completed the trial
voyage and successfully returned to Wenchong plant area.

On June 19, "CHINAGAS GLORY", the sixth 84,000m3 VLGC in the year built by
Jiangnan Shipyard and the second VLGC built by the company for CHINAGAS,
completed its trial voyage.
Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group secures orders for three 13,000 DWT
deck carriers
Recently, Offshore Engineering Institute of CSSC Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry
Group signed a construction contract with Indonesia Pt Alur Biru Maritim for three 13,000
DWT deck carriers through cloud video.
New Times Shipbuilding delivered a 208,000 DWT bulk carrier
On the morning of June 22, Jiangsu New Times Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. held the

unloading efficiency
On June 1, 2020, Shanghai Guandong International Container Terminal Co., Ltd.
took 8 hours and 52 minutes to complete the task of unloading 7,832 containers on the
3E ship "Esttel Maersk", breaking the world record.

China-made production and operation system of super large container
terminal breaks foreign monopoly
On June 10, five 20,000 TEU container ships carried out on-site loading and
unloading operations at Ningbo-Zhoushan Port. With a single day's completion of 33,000
TEU containers, the history of China's "ten million TEU" container terminals relying on
foreign systems has ended.
Tianjin Port Group opens another new "Belt and Road" route
On the morning of June 12, SITC LINE container set sail from Tianjin Port to Vietnam
and Malaysia, which marks successful opening of Tianjin Port Group’s second "Belt and
Road" direct container liner route linking Tianjin and Vietnam East Malaysia.
Maersk opens Southeast Asia Cold Chain Express in Shandong Port
On June 13, the container ship "HANSA COBURGE" loaded with 612 TEUs
successfully berthed at Shandong-Qingdao Port after passing through Ho Chi Minh Port,
Hong Kong Port and Dalian Port. So far, Maersk’s new direct cold chain route in
Shangdong-Qingdao Port was successfully launched.

Cargo throughput of Yangpu Port increased by 10.28% year on year in the
first five months
From January to May this year, the overall cargo throughput of Yangpu Port was
22.2572 million tons, up 10.28% year on year. The inbound cargo volume of Yangpu
Port increased by 10.44%, and the outbound cargo volume increased by 9.99% year on
year.
CCS Latest Developments
First new construction cooperation between CCS and Maersk launched
Recently, H2640, the first ship of five 2,200TEU
container ships built by Jiangnan Shipbuilding Group Co.,
Ltd. for Maersk successfully laid the keel. As a key project
of China Classification Society (CCS), H2640’s classification and statutory survey is
carried by CCS Shanghai Branch, and this series of ships is the first cooperation
between CCS and Maersk in the field of new shipbuilding.

On June 2, the commencement ceremonry was
successfully held for 13,800 DWT stainless steel chemical
carrier, ordered by COSCO Shipping Group Co., Ltd. and
built by Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.The ship’s
classification survey is being carried out by China Classification Society (CCS).
Construction contract signed for 100K DWT intelligent giant aquaculture
ship
On June 3, Guoxin-CSSC (Qingdao) Marine
Technology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding
Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State
Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, jointly held a signing
ceremony for construction of the 100K DWT intelligent giant aquaculture ship. Zhong
Xiaojin, Vice President of China Classification Society (CCS), was invited to attend and
address the ceremony.

CCS issues certificate for the first ship registered in Hainan Free Trade Port
On June 4, "COSCO Shipping Xing Wang", the 62,000
DWT multi-purpose pulp carrier of COSCO Shipping
Specialized Carriers Co., Ltd was registered in Hainan
Free Trade Port, becoming the first ship engaged in
international voyages with "China Yangpu Port" as its port of registry. The ship is classed
by CCS and has obtained the "physical examination certificate" issued by CCS.
CCS helps construction of Shenzhen Offshore International LNG Bunkering
Hub
On June 3, the signing ceremony for Shenzhen
Offshore International LNG Bunkering Hub project was
successfully held in Yantian, Shenzhen, marking China’s
first offshore international LNG bunkering hub settled in
Yantian, Shenzhen. Yantian Port will become one of the forerunners of international LNG
bunkering hubs in the world after Singapore Port and Amsterdam Port in the Netherlands.
Wuhan Rules & Research Institute of China Classification Society (CCS) was invited to
attend the signing ceremony.

Shipping Co., Ltd. and surveyed by CCS Shanghai
Branch completed the trial voyage and returned.
