IDEAOur idea is based on ‘Dragons Den’ but instead of hosting entrepreneurs our show will invite media students from colleges and university's in the north west. The chosen students will then pitch their idea of a new TV series to be shown on E4.

Target AudienceThe TV series should be aimed at 17-21 year Old's as we believe these students best understand the needs of this age group. The students must show their understanding of this genre’s conventions and show good pitching skills. The show will be shown after the watershed from 21:00-22:00. The pitches will be done in the style of ‘Dragons Den’ and will be judged by 4 professionals within the television industry. The show will be aimed at people of all nationalities and ethnicities and will feature on channel E4 which is a heavily popular channel for teenagers through to mid 20’s.

JudgesAll of the judges in our TV programme are residents of E4, this means they will be widely recognized by our target audience. Using this cast means that viewers of E4 will be morelikely to watch our show. We chose these 4 actors as we believe that they will bring entertainment to the show as they all feature in other successful comedy programmes.

We choose our students by going into colleges and university's informing them of the idea with 30 days to produce their idea. The winning student will receive a 27” iMac and professional media editing programmes along with HD video camera. After the series' has finished the series’ may be given a chance to continue the show.
