Little do the Rangers know that as they go for the final piece, they are walking directly into a trap set by

the villainous Fat Cat, who has somehow taken control of the A.R.S.!

Animals are acting strangely aggressive around the world due to the effects of the Animal Rescue Signal, a device invented to grant animals the strength and courage to defend themselves against non-animal threats!

Thankfully, the Rescue Rangers are on the case, tracking down the parts of the super-key, the only object that can grant them access to the signal.
