CHORIZOS. A SPANISH STICK-UP

Ricardo González and Ricardo Vilbor

CHORIZOS, A spanish stick-up is the bizarre story of bus driver Frank who, after losing his job under fraudulent conditions, becomes implicated in a robbery orchestrated by his childhood friend, Manolo. 2 retirees obsessed with the Civil War, an immigrant and a loudmouthed faux liberal join Frank and Manolo, an ex-politician recently found guilty of corruption, in our team of antiheroes who embark on a trip in search of the Promised Land: the Montecarlo Casino (and all its millions).

Prepare yourself for a journey that’s not educational, not spiritual, not inspirational, not informative and not very revealing at all. But it will be, without doubt, absurd. And dangerous. And fun. And…that’s it.

Grafito Editorial is proud to present this comic by Valencian authors (and, therefore, experts in putting up with political corruption) Ricar González (artist) and Ricardo Vilbor (scriptwriter) who show us that if the Spanish have got something, it’s the capability to satirize even the worst of our problems. Here are 130 pages that leave nobody left unscathed.

CHORIZOS, a graphic novel about corruption.
