With the idea of “Handmade Ikea” I started this company in 2013 and grew

it from a small section of my parents garage to a 2400 square foot studio in

Baltimore, MD. I design and build modern furniture with innovative wood and

metal joints that allow for the dissasembly of the end product which flat packs

for shipping directly to the consumer. To date I have sold over 475 orders

totalling over $150,000 of revenue with a 4.9/5 customer rating.

DESIGN CONSULTANTStanley Black & Decker, July 2016 - Present

I design DIY projects that are filmed and turned into high quality step-by-step

How-To video content for Stanley Black and Decker’s Mobile Application DIYZ.

I research current market trends to create a unique DIY tutorial and project

instructions to outline the steps for the film crew and content managers. While

filming I either build the projects on camera or act as a professional advisor to

the on screen talent.

WOODWORKING INSTRUCTORThe Foundery, May 2016 - Present

I teach woodworking at The Foundery, a makerspace located next to Under

Armour’s HQ which is also funded by Kevin Plank. I created a class on one of

my DIY projects featured on website Lifehacker.com and also work with other

instructors to develop new classes to draw more makers into the community.

MARKETING INTERNTours De Sport, Jan 2013 - Feb 2014

Here I created a new excel based automated marketing tracking system that

sumarizes and infers decisions based on the raw marketing data exported from

the companies database. This new system saved on average 30 hours of work

per week.
