Christians, Life is Meant to be Long Lived! Pastor’s Desk – June 17, 2018 It seems like as we approach the end of times, the more our planet grows old and the less people are living. Life span is gradually decreasing by generations and this was not what God had always in mind. Here are some of the promises to cheer you up: Pro. 10:27; The Fear of God expands your life; a wicked life is a puny life. It clearly states that fearing God will add longevity to our lives, so let’s jump into it! It’s also wise! Psa. 91:14,16; The Lord says, “If you love me and truly know who I am…You will live a long life and see my saving power.” Pro. 22:4; True humility and fear of the LORD lead to riches, honor, and long life. Pro. 22:4; Respect and serve the LORD! Your reward will be wealth, a long life, and honor. (CEV)
