In Italy Christmas is a special time for most children. One of the ways they can share their joy and enthusiaism is by preparing the Christmas cards to their friends in their class-room. Few days until Christmas children feel the atmosphere of waiting and preparations. The streets are full of lights.

In Italy, like in the other parts of the world, Christmas is one of the most important festivity. On December 8th , day dedicated to Virgin “Immacolata Concezione”, is an holiday. In this day all families decorate their coloured Christmas trees full of lights and sweets. In the same day in every house people prepare a crib. The first crib goes back to Saint Francesco of Assisi in Greccio, Saint Francesco is a very famous Saint in our Nation. The crib is the symbol of our Christian faith.
