Christmas Creative Day - Thank you!
On Wednesday this week everybody at Perranporth had a fabulous day by getting into
the Christmas spirit and making lots of different decorations. Every class enjoyed get-
ting creative with a whole range of festive creations from Christmas cards to wreaths,
lollipop stick reindeer to peppermint snowmen. It was great to see so many parents
come in to the afternoon session to lend a hand and help the children (and the teach-
ers!) to make such cracking Christmas creations! Thank you all very much indeed, it
really was a wonderful day!
Christmas Tree Festival
The Christmas Tree Festival opens on Saturday 16th Dec 12-4pm and then on Monday 18th to
Saturday 23rd 12-6pm at St Piran’s Church Perranzabuloe. There will be an ‘Esmee Polmear
Christmas Tree’ which children are welcome to make a decoration for and then go to the
church to hang it before the opening of the festival. The choir are attending the church this
Sunday afternoon at 2.45pm which would also be a good time to hang any decorations
made.

Christmas Foodbank Vouchers
Our school has been provided with some Christmas Foodbank vouchers to be given to
any of our families who might be in need of this resource. The voucher entitles families
to a food parcel providing at least 6 meals for a family plus an additional Christmas
parcel of Christmas foods, meats and children’s gifts. If you feel in need of this service
or would like to discuss it further, please speak with the School Office or Mr Johnson.
School Meals Feedback
As parents will no doubt already know,
our school meals provider changed at
the beginning of this academic year. Alt-
hough our meals are still cooked and prepared by the same
kitchen staff, they are now provided by Cater-Link who have
brought different menus and some other small changes. Since
the changes we have noticed a drop in the number of pupils
who purchase a school meal. For this reason we would greatly
appreciate your feedback to assess if there are any particular
reasons for this decline and if there’s anything that can be done to address it. If you would like to
provide feedback on our school meals, please follow the link below and complete the short survey.
Thank you.

Messy Church
On Sunday 10th December 3pm - 5pm the ‘Messy Church’ is inviting families to St
Agnes Methodist Chapel to join them for Christmas crafts, songs, story, food and fun!
All children are to be accompanied by an adult.
The church also has an ‘Find the Angel’ competition. All children need to do is spot
the angels hidden in some of the shop windows in St Agnes from the beginning of De-
cember! Just record the angel number and the name of the shop you found it in, then bring your an-
swers with you to the church to win a little Christmas treat!
