Christmas Joy Boxes

Once again we are ramping up to provide Christmas Joy Boxes to children in

Haiti. We have participated in this ministry for several years and helped pro-

vide much joy and shown God's love to these children. Each gift box is com-

prised of items such as small toys, hard candy, toiletries, coloring books,

etc., and costs about $25 to fill. The chairperson with Hope for Haiti has re-

quested the number of children we are willing to sponsor this Christmas.

Once we know the number, they will send us a list of ages and genders. When

received we’ll pass it on to those who have volunteered to provide a joy box

for Christmas.

To all Family Promise participants and those who wish

to join us.

RE: Family Promise service is August 9th - 16th

We will be hosting the families in need on the days

listed above. We will not be hosting them for the night

at our building but will take their meals to them at the

FP day center, where they will be staying day and night

due to the Coronavirus. The location of the day center

is located at 2301 Haynes. The unit is #B, on your right

as you face the entrances. We have always planned to

serve the meals at 6:00pm. I encourage anyone who

chooses to take food to use disposable containers.

We do welcome any who wish to help in this ministry.
