1. chronological (adj): arranged in the order of occurrence; time order Ms. Saylor asked us to put the historical events into chronological order on the timeline. 2. chronicle (n/v): a record or account of events as they happened in order/to record or write an account I kept a chronicle of my days in Africa so I could share with others the events that happened while I was there. I chronicled the events of my trip to Africa when I wrote in my journal.
