Chrysler Directive for DS Stamping Programs

Chrysler has specified on the DS program that IPD/ Dalsa will be used on the following.

All Adhesive/ Mastik and Sealer applications.

All Stud and Nut presence applications where sensors are not advantageous to the process configuration. E.g. Body Side Aperture, Floor Pan, Tailgate.

DS Program Body Side Aperture

To determine the presence of welded nuts on Body Side.

Two styles are required. Quad Cab

6 nuts are required for inspection

Crew Cab

7 nuts are required for inspection.

Robot to present the part to 3 fix mounted cameras.

Robot to move to 2 preset locations for inspection.

All pass/ fail information, solution selection and triggering sent via ethernet to AB Control Logics Processor.
