Subsidized fees are shown for Prog. 5 to 17.

Travel Loan and Travel Grant offered by Chung Chi College

Travel Loan and Travel Grant will be offered by the College to needy students who participate in various College Summer Programmes with an aim to enhance their international exposure.

Application: March 2019

HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund – Reaching Out Award (ROA)

Some programmes are eligible for ROA. Successful applicants selected by the College will receive a subsidy of HK$10,000.

Format of Subsidy

Other Subsidies Available

Scheme for Subsidy on Exchange for Post-secondary Students (SSE), Scheme for Subsidy on Exchange to Belt & Road Regions for Post-secondary Students (SSEBR)

Some overseas programmes are eligible for the above schemes. Subsidy depends on household income and assets, destination and duration.

Students eligible for the subsidy will be contacted by Office of Academic Links (OAL) after confirmation of offers

Each student can only be subsidized twice* during

their study period.

* Students with 2-year normative study period can only be subsidized once.**If vacancies are available, students who have used up the subsidy quota can still participate in the above programmes at their own expense.

Exploration and Discovery (E&D) Study Scheme(affiliated to GECC4130)

New GE study scheme by College, 3 credits of CGE

Eligible for students promoting to Year 3 or above in 2019/20

E&D integrates learning experience from College summer

programme with project-based study

Two categories of summer programme:

Thematic Study Prog. (TSP): Conduct a topical study under

the scope of the study theme of the summer programme.

Global eXperience Prog. (GXP): Conduct a comparative

study between Hong Kong and the visited region.

A Hundred Years of Yenching: College History Exploration and Renowned Christian Universities Visiting Programme (Beijing, 2019)

Date: 8 – 13 Jun 2019

• Exploring the history of Yenching University• Visiting Peking University• Attending theme-related seminars to understand the

history of Christian Universities in China• Sightseeing at mounments in Beijing• Participating in group studies and tutorials• Multilateral exchange among Chung Chi students,

Hong Kong Heritage Conservation Policy Study Trip

Programme features:

Various visits and workshops on heritage conservation.

Participants will take role of planning and leading a cultural tour in

Yau Ma Tei on the last day of the study trip.

The experiential learning activities deepen the understanding of

local history, culture and related conservation issues

• Visits to institutions and attractions, participating in seminars and group studies

• Understand the religious, history, culture and development of the destination
