Dear Parishioners,

The Second Sunday of Lent is here and today we celebrate our Annual Entertainment in honor

of Saints Joseph and Patrick. As you know, the Show and the 50/50 Raffle are fundraisers for the

parish and I am grateful to you for your participation and support.

All of you who took part in last year’s Annual Catholic Appeal have most likely received a

pledge card for this year’s Appeal. We did well last year due to your commitment to our diocese and

parish. I’m not bragging but simply stating what I read in The Tablet: we were the ninth highest parish

in the diocese in terms of the total amount raised.

We did this with 245 participants. How much more we could do for those in need if only 100

more parishioners would participate this year. Please pray about becoming a donor this year. Our

parish goal is $110,066.00.

Let’s pray for each other

Msgr. Kevin B. Noone

P.S. The offertory gifts of bread and wine are placed on the table in the cross aisle. If a family member

or donor of the mass intention wishes to bring the gifts in the offertory procession, we encourage the

family to sit close to the table.
