Renovation News Church Demolition Demolition of the church interior will begin at 8:00 am on Monday, January 7. We have about 20 people signed up to help. I am truly grateful to all the volunteers that have stepped forward. We can surely use more help if you have time to spare. The church is a large space and there is plenty of room for more volunteers and there is a job for everyone. This project will not be completed in one day; two weeks have been set aside for demolition. Please come help as you are able. Evening shifts have been set up starting at 6:00 pm on January 9 & 10 and then the following week January 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18. We have decided to add Saturday, January 12 as another work day; we’ll begin at 8:00 am and work until 4:00 pm. If you cannot make it during the week, please come by and help on that Saturday. Lunch will be served during all day shifts. To volunteer, please contact Andy Loso at 320-293-1953 or [email protected]. Thank you. - Andy Loso, Facility Manager Relocation of Worship and Meeting Space During the church renovation, daily and weekend Masses will be celebrated in Heritage Hall. Confessions will be heard in the Parish Meeting Room on Saturdays, beginning at 4:00 pm or by appointment. Choir rehearsals will be held in the music room of the school. The yoga class will be held in the upper gym of the school. The concert committee, pastoral council and finance council will meet in the Parish Meeting Room. Please watch for location details in the “This Week’s Scheduled Activities” column of the weekly bulletin to determine where your meeting or activity will take place.
The Dance Class is Coming! Dust off your dancing shoes and sign up for dance classes in west coast swing (lessons in east coast swing have been offered in past years). Lessons will be held 7:00 – 8:00 pm on Mondays, beginning January 7. The cost per person is $15 for the four-week class, taught by Steve and Nancy Streng. Please call or text Nancy Ebel at 320-237-7155 if you are interested in participating.
Middle School Youth Rally A Middle School Youth Rally will be held 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 27 at Cathedral High School. All students grades 6–8 are encouraged to attend this faith and fun-filled day, joining middle schoolers from throughout the diocese. There will be guest presenters, Mass with Bishop Kettler, food, fun and games. The theme for the day is “Dream Small.” Registration deadline is Monday, January 14. To register your child or if you are an adult interested in chaperoning the event, please contact Marian at 363-7505, ext 152.
Caregiver Support Group The Caregiver Group will meet at 12:30 pm in the Parish Meeting Room on Monday, January 7. All caregivers are welcome and encouraged to be part of this support group.
