What is Eucharistic Adoration? Eucharistic Adoration is spending time iand adoring the presence of Our Lord Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Eucharistic Guardians hold weekly obligations called Holy Hours. The obligation is for one hour, the same hour each week.
What Do I Do? Adorers spend time in silent contemplation and prayer. You may pray the Rosary, Stations of the Cross or some other form of prayer. Some adorers choose to read the Bible or other spiritual materials. Or, you can sit there silently, gazing at the Real Presence of the Lord, gazing as the Angels do, knowing that Christ is present.
What If I Cannot Commit an Hour? If you are not able to hold an hourly obligation each week, you may want to consider becoming a Substitute Guardian. Substitute Guardians are very important and vital to the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration.
