Dear brothers and sisters in Christ: “Through your servant is careful of them, very diligent in keeping them, yet who can detect failings? Cleanse me from my unknown faults!” Despite being a dynamic and enthusiastic community, this year we have committed an era which is important; We have not duly contributed to two Di-ocesan campaigns, Generations of Faith and the Annual Catholic Appeal, this is one of the reasons why it has para-lyzed the objectives we set ourselves, and the second, the majority of parishes have already set their goals, while we on the other hand have hardly collected and we wish to thank those of you who have done so in the amount of $5.792 out of our goal of $18.375. Last Thursday we tallied the promis-es made in the pews on Sunday and we will give you the re-sults next week and you in turn will receive by mail your commitment and thank you in advance for your donations. We encourage you to join and be part of those who make the difference and are feeling with identity and a sense of be-longing to Saint Sylvester. Thank you for your positive re-sponse. Let us continue united in prayer, in general we are going through a very hard time for the institution, but may God have mercy on us and save us, may he pull out of this dark night so that we can see a new dawn. RCIA Registration
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a wonderful journey for membership and participation in the Catholic
Church. It is designed for adults who, after hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed, freely desire to seek the living God and
enter into full communion with the Catholic Church. The journey is one of conversion, preparation and formation which at the proper
time leads towards reception of the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist) that are received at the Easter Vigil. If anyone is interested in the RCIA program please call the
office during the week to register.

A pesar de ser una comunidad dinámica y entusiasta, este año he-mos cometido una falta que si importa; no hemos contribuido debidamente a las dos campanas diocesanas, Generaciones de Fe y Campana Católica Anual, en la primera es una razón para haber paralizado los objetivos que nos propusimos y en la se-gunda, ya la mayoría de parroquias van consiguiendo sus me-tas, nosotros apenas hemos colectado y gracias a quienes lo hi-cieron, la cantidad de $5.792 la mayor parte en promesas de los $18.375. El jueves pasado tabulamos las promesas hechas en las bancas el domingo pasado les daremos los resultados y uste-des, a su vez recibirán por correo su compromiso y gracias de antemano por sus donaciones. Les animamos a que se unan y sean parte de quienes hacen la diferencia y se hacen sentir con identidad y sentido de pertenencia de que somos San Silvestre. Gracias por su respuesta positiva.
