Introduction to the Liturgy of the Word

Malachi sets the tone today when he speaks of fire con-

suming the earth. Scary. But his message does not end

there. He goes on to say that healing and justice will

come as well. Jesus does the same. After warning of

persecutions, he assures his disciples that those who

place their trust in the Lord will be kept safe. Let us

listen today for those messages of hope and pray that

we can persevere in our faith.

sus discípulos que los que ponen su confianza en el

FAITH FORMATION CLASSES

Faith Formation Classes are held at the

school building located at 86-37 53rd Avenue,

on Sundays from 8:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.,

from September through May.

A new registration must be completed for all present stu-

dents as well as new students to attend our program. Parents

must bring the following documents when registering:

- Baptism Certificate

- Birth Certificate, if child is not baptized

- A Parish Transfer letter is required if child attended

another parish

we are especially aware of the many bless-

ings that God has bestowed on us. In gratitude to the

Lord and each other, we will participate in our 10th an-

nual Thanksgiving Food Drive.

The food that we collect will be given to benefit fami-

lies in need within our community. This is a great op-

portunity for families to assist those in need in our

community during this time of year when we thank

God for His many blessings.
