INFORMATION

Faith Formation Classes are held on

Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at

the Parish Center. The classes run from

September through May.

A new registration form MUST be completed for all

present students as well as new students to attend our

program. Parents must bring the following documents

when registering:

- Baptism Certificate;

- Birth Certificate if child/ren is not baptized;

- If a child attended Religious Education classes at

another parish a transfer letter is required.

be interested in volunteering for the Faith Formation

Introduction to the Liturgy of the Day

We gather today, as we do every Sunday, as the Body

of Christ. We are called to be Christ in the world

through our words and actions. Saint Paul teaches us

that we are called to be parts of Christ’s body. Indi-

vidually we are many parts, but together we are one.

As we begin to observe Catholic Schools Week today,

let Paul’s words provide a valuable lesson for us to

learn.

Question of the Week

Am I conscious of Jesus’ presence in our midst? How

do I show others that I am part of the Body of Christ?

Introducción a la Liturgia del Día

Nos reunimos hoy, igual que hacemos todos los domin-

gos, como cuerpo de Cristo. Estamos llamados a ser

Cristo en el mundo mediante nuestras palabras y obras.

San Pablo nos enseña que estamos llamados a ser los

miembros del cuerpo de Cristo. Cada uno de nosotros

formamos muchas partes, pero juntos somos un solo

cuerpo. Al comenzar hoy la semana de las escuelas

católicas, dejemos que Pablo nos dé una valiosa lección

que debemos aprender.

PRAYER PROJECT

Praying together as a family is a great way to experi-

ence the presence of God in our everyday lives.

While there are many ways to pray, using Scripture as

the center and focus of family prayer time can be

fruitful and instructive for everyone.

Place a Bible in your family prayer corner.

Gather as a family and begin with a prayer to the

Holy Spirit, asking for guidance and understand-

ing of God’s Word.

Read the Sunday Gospel or daily readings aloud

(usccb.org/readings).

Allow some time to reflect on the passage, and

then share a few words about it.

End with a prayer of thanksgiving for the gift of

God’s living Word.
