MARSHA SORENSEN ¢ We had the pleasure of getting to know Marsha when she joined Team in Training (TNT). She was new to the sport of cycling, starting off with an old bike and no experience. She threw herself into the sport and the cause wholeheartedly and became an excellent cyclist. Right away Marsha made fast friends on the team, helping to organize fundraisers and in general working to improve everything related to the TNT cycling team. She exemplified TEAM in every way. After participating in the Cinderella Classic in March of 2005 she decided the Central Valley needed an event of this kind. Valley Girls Ride was born with the goal of sharing her love of cycling and promoting comradeship among women. Sadly, soon after forming the committee she passed away. She will always be in our hearts and on our team. Thanks Marsha for a great Ride….. 2010 VALLEY GIRLS RIDE IN HONOR OF The Organizers The Valley Girls Ride is part of the Central Valley Cycling Charitable Association aka “Parker’s Team.” The members of CVCCA combine their love of cycling with their passion for helping others.
