Aims at providing encouragement & an international recognition for CILT young members
Through participation in the Award, young member may have the chance to:
Get to know his/her goals in the industry/profession Get the right stimulus for his/her pursuit in leaving a legacy Develop a sense of pride in being a member of the
profession, and of the CILT
Acknowledge and highlight the achievements of young professionals
Encourage and motivate young professionals at all levels in their chosen field of endeavor
Encourage young members to undertake research study on transport/logistics project
Develop a sense of pride in being member of CILT
Build self-confidence through rewards for excellence
Provide role models and mentors for other young members by highlighting their achievements and the pursuit of excellence
Develop and encourage leadership

Applicant/Nominee must be a CILTHK member under 35 years of ages as of 1st January 2021 and engaged in transport and/or logistics business or relevant duties *It is acceptable for non-member to submit the Award Enrolment Form together with their CILTHK Membership Application Form
Entrants participated/nominated in previous years’ contests can enter again as long as they meet the current assessment criteria but projects/ achievements which have been referred in previous submissions will not be re-considered
1. Complete the Enrolment form 2. Submit with 4 sets of hard copy and 1 set of soft copy in
a CD/DVD/USB to CILTHK office (7/F, Yue Hing Building, 103 Hennessy Road, Wanchai) in a sealed envelope marked “CILTHK Young Achiever Award 2020” on/before 10 July 2020, Fri (6:00p.m.)
Provide substantial support to the serving Company/Organisation
The essence of the research is significantly added to the existing body of knowledge and commercialised in use
Active contributions to CILT and particularly in the mentoring and support of other Young Members
Commit to continued professional development by learning new skills and building their competencies, teaching and developing others in the process
Personal goal and other achievements
Demonstrate potential leadership skills
Degree of difficulty and sacrifices made to achieve, past and in the future
Commitment to industry and community services (Copies of press articles, awards, certificates, etc. can be attached)
Preliminary Assessment
Documentation review and short-listed candidates will be invited for a presentation in the final assessment session. Final Assessment
Finalists to be invited for a 30 minutes presentation with Q & A session before a 3-member judging panel formed by CILTHK Council members and/or industry experts.
Be presented a certificate and a cash prize of HK$10,000 at the CILTHK Annual General Meeting 2020 as a token of recognition and encouragement Be nominated by the CILTHK Council to compete for the CILT International Young Achiever Award 2021 (the result announcement and award presentation will be at the CILT Convention 2021 in Perth, Australia)
