Location
Yala is located 288 kilometres away from Colombo in the southern province. This location
falls under Sri Lanka's dry zone and is home to much of its endemic wildlife. Yala is the
perfect location to visit for the wildlife enthusiasts as well as the culture tourists. Yala is aptly
renowned for housing a diverse range of wildlife such as Asian elephants, leopards, sloth
bears, spotted deer, wild boar and a variety of birds. Moreover Sithulpauwa, Magul maha
