all elephants in circuses have a hardlife in captivity ... and daisy was

    no different.

we realized that the circus usedanimals only to make money. they

didnt care if the animals were happy.

we heard about a new circus thatdidnt use animals.

we decided to join it andstop helping the circus that

    hurt animals.

i thought a circus needed animals!

after what i just heard, im glad youdont use animals in your circus.

are there other circuses thatdont use animals?

yes, and more circuses arelearning they dont need animalsto entertain people.

because they are dangerous topeople. sometimes elephants

crack under stress, try to runaway ... and are shot!

    whatever happened to daisy?

our old circus was fined formistreating its animals. they

    decided to sell daisy.

    everybody who knew and liked

daisy gave money to help usrescue her. we also got fundsfrom an association thathelps captive elephants.

the day finally came when daisy wasto be rescued. she seemed to sense

something was different as alexanderapproached her.

Dont go to circuses that usecaptive animals! If people stoppedpaying to see elephants, circuses

    would stop using them.

speak up for elephants!! tell yourfamily and friends why animal-free

    circuses are better!

    ask your parents to

tell local officialsthey dont want circuseswith captive animals!

    find out how you can

help protect animals.contact organizationsthat care for and help

    protect animals.

if everybody helps, we can breakthe chains of captive animals

    in circuses.

    so, whatever became of daisy?

remember that old friend i toldyou we were going to see?

    hello, daisy!

    wow!

Daisy is lucky! she lives in anelephant sanctuary, where

    she can roam free.

most captive elephants neverget their freedom!

its best to let wild elephantsstay wild!

We need to let circuses knowthat we dont want animals heldcaptive for our entertainment!

    good-bye, daisy!
