BOB-0, the Clown (Robert E. Hitson, has re-covered from a stroke and is making a come-back in show business. One of his first dateswas the PAL Circus at the San Francisco CowPalace on Nov. 20-21.

The program offered by the Bob Snowden pro-duced dates in New York State late last monthfeatured:

Sold!Another show will go on tour next year, but itis not known at this time if the show will retainits old title or operate under a new one. Thepurchase of the Dixiana Circus, from CharlesKoehler, by Peter Luvas and Gary Strong, wasannounced this past week.

The Dixiana Circus was on the road from 1963to 1967 and has been in storage since that time.Everything is in good shape, the new owners re-port, and they plan to spend the winter monthspreparing the show for its 1977 tour.The big top will seat 1200 people and will offera performance featuring the families of: GaryStrong, Peter Luvas, Smiley Daly and Prof.Hardy. The side show, which will include fourcages made by Perry Luth, will feature a var-iety of animals, plus magic by Simley Daly, Jr.The new owners plan to tour the circus in thestates of Louisiana, Tennessee, Missiaippi andKentucky.
