Mode During a 95 -100 degree F day the Mechanical ventilation turn
on and provides comfortable temperatures. Motorized louvers in

58. REINFORCED CONCRETE MOMENT FRAMES. The structural system
consists of beams, columns, and beams-column joints that resist
flexural, axial and shearing action in the case of earthquakes. The
range is between 30 to 45 feet beam depths, that will support
typical gravity loads. The Radio of the cross section dimensions
for the columns shall be no less 0.4 per ACI 318 - 21.6.1.2 and a
minimum column dimension of 16 inches is suggested. Columns are 24"
and beams are 32" depth. The building structure presented in this
projectwill be builtto modern building codesincluding ASCE
(American Society for Civil Engineering),ACI (American Concrete
Institute) and AISC (American Institute for Steel Construction).The
moment frame placedalong the perimeter of the building will resist
lateral loads. The moment frame is an assemblage of columns and
beams rigidly connected to each otherusing moment connections such
as extended end plate connections that are joined with bolts or
welding. The lateral forceresistance of the frame is provided by
the stiffness of the system, bending moment and sheardevelopingin
members and joints, which restrain the structure from excessive
lateral deflection.Lateral loads are mainly created by wind forces,
whereas gravityloads(deadand liveloads)imposed on the
buildingbyself-weight of the structure, such as structural members
(beams, girders, slabs), walls, floors, utilities, roof etc.are
resisted by gravity columns and transferred through beams and
girders. Due to expansive nature of the soil in DFW area and the
weight of the structure, it is recommended to use foundation
ondrilled shafts with bell. The shaft will beplacedevenly
throughoutthe structural grid.Concrete slab will be supported by
grade beams, which in turn will be transferring the loads to
