What’s New In This Release

What’s New In This ReleaseNew Date Format for Easy Open Custom Email Notification Template

From this release onwards, you can modify the expiry date format of the Easy Open Custom Email Notification template.

When the Easy Open feature is enabled, you can configure the following variables in the Email Notification Custom template:

• ${PORTAL_EXPIRATION_MONTH} (To display the month in text format)

• ${PORTAL_EXPIRATION_DAY} (To display the day of month with timestamp)

and the email expiry date appears as June 09, 2020 01:17:44 PM UTC.

This new setting will not impact the existing default templates. The default template uses the ${PORTAL_EXPIRATION_DATE} variable and the email expiry date appears as 06/09/2020 01:17:44 PM UTC.

Important:

• (Cisco Email Security appliance users) If you are using the Easy Open feature of Cisco Registered Envelope Service on the Cisco Email Security appliance, you need to update PostXEngine version to the latest one that supports the two new variables available in the custom template.
