Caution! Power supply 119970 has not been certified for use in altitudes of more than 2000 m (approximately 6000 feet) above sea level.

Caution! The ceiling mounted power supply must be mounted in the fire enclosure for safety reasons.

IntroductionAs an option, the system may include a document camera suspended from the ceiling above the table. The cabling from this camera will be connected to the system.

Ideally, a 10 cm (4”) diameter suitable conduit, designed to accommodate the document camera cabling, should have been inserted behind the white wall to prevent it from becoming visible through the blue glass panels. See the separate document “Telepresence T3 Room Recommendations Guide” for more on this matter.

If insertion of the conduit behind the white wall was not possible to implement, the conduit will have been mounted as shown.

Note! Cisco T3 can be delivered with either a DLink or a Cisco USB–Ethernet adapter.

DLink USB–Ethernet adapter is compatible with TelePresence Control Unit software 3.1 or newer, only.

Cisco USB–Ethernet adapter compatible with TelePresence Control Unit software 4.03 or newer, only.

Make sure you have the correct software installed before connecting the USB–Ethernet adapter.

Note! The marking on the cable 117879 may not match these instructions. If so, the marking of the cable should be disregarded.

Do as follows:

1. Fasten Wolfvision bracket (B) to mounting plate (K) using the 3 bolts (G), 3 nuts (I), and 6 washers (J) as shown below:

2. Turn the plate over and fasten the 3 gliders (C) in every other short elongated slot to the mounting plate (K) using the 3 bolts (H):

3. Locate and mark the center of the camera capture area on the table:

Locate the center line of the mounting circle on the ceiling by measuring over 87.5 mm to the left of the camera capture area center and then transferring this to the ceiling with a plumb bob or laser. Observe that the camera’s final forward position will always depend on the actual distance from the table surface, but will never vary in the side-to–side position. This will always be 87.5 mm to the left of the center of the camera capture area, thus providing the first reference center line.) See Fig. for details.

4. The distance from the table surface to the bottom edge of doc cam should be within the range 1640–1890 mm, preferably 1720 mm. Using Wolfvision’s formula

X mm = distance × tan18° – 291mm

yields 268 mm from center of image to trailing edge of camera. Adding 226 mm (half the length of the camera) to this gives 494 mm and transferring this to the ceiling along the center line of mounting circle (as described in 3. above) now fixes the mounting point.

5. Use a compass to draw a circle with a radius of 300 mm around this point.

6. Drill 3 holes spaced equidistantly from each other, using the circle as a guide. See diagram on the next page (Selection of anchor screws or expansion bolts will depend on ceiling construction and are thus not provided).

12. Use the cable gliders for adjusting the overall camera height and for leveling left to right (press down on the top collar of the cable gliders). Make sure you support the camera while doing this!

13. Continue by adjusting the camera front to back with a 4° angle.. Make sure you support the camera while doing this!

Tip! Additional adjustments are possible by use of the elongated slots. In this way you may obtain a perfect a perfect adjustment even if the ceiling inhibits this.

7. Fasten ceiling attachments in the 3 holes, as shown below.

8. Thread the cables through the screw caps

9. Thread screw caps into ceiling attachments:

10. Thread loose cable ends into corresponding gliders:

11. Mount the camera according to the Wolfvision documentation.
