Accela Citizen Access (ACA) is a portal into the City of San Antonio’s
Development Services Department (DSD)online services. Anyone
with access to the internet may search Property Information
without registering for an account. Registering for an account;
however, enables you to create applications, view the status of your
records, upload documentation, create Escrow Accounts and much
more.

Property Lookup Information Instructions
for Non-registered Account Users
The Citizen
Access Portal
page displays.
Go to the
General
Information
section.
Click Lookup
Property
Information (#1
shown).
The Look Up
Property
Information
page displays
(shown).
From the right-
hand side drop-
down menu, click
to select Look Up
Address, Parcel
Information or
Owner (#1
shown).
The Look Up by
Address page
displays (shown).
Type Street Number
and Name (#1
shown).
Click Look Up (#2
shown). The system
searches the
database to return
all matches found.
The Look Up Property
Information page displays
(shown).
Address link displays (#1
shown).
Parcel Number displays (#2
shown).
Associated Owners display
(#2 shown).
Click on any of the links
(Address, Parcels or
Associated Owners) to
display more information.
After viewing Address
Information you may select
Look Up Parcel Information
or Look Up By Owner
property information by
clicking on the
corresponding link (shown).
If searching for
property information
by Parcel
Information, select
Look Up by Parcel

Type City Parcel
Number (#2 shown).
Click Look Up (#3
shown).
Parcel Number,
Associated Addresses
and Associated
Owners information
of the Parcel display.
Click on any of the
links provided to
view more
information.
If searching for
Property Information
by Owner, Owner
Name must be typed
exactly as it appears
on the record or the
system is unable to
locate information.

Creating applications is an additional
functionality available to Registered
Account Users.
From the
Citizen Access
portal page
(shown), login
to your
account.
After login, your Home
page displays
(shown).
Under the General
Information section,
click Lookup Property
Information (#1
shown).
Search for property
information by
Address, Parcel
Information or Owner.
If searching for record
status (application)
information, locate the
section (ex: Land
Development).
Click Search
Applications (#1
shown).

1 Click drop-down to search by
Address or Contact.
2 Click the box to search your
applications only or all records.
3 Type Application Number, if
known.
4 Click Application Type drop-
down menu to select a record
type.
5 Select a date range.
6 Type Street number (ex: 1901)
or a range (ex: 100-200).
7 Type Street name.
8 Type City Parcel Number, if
known.
9 Type Project Name, if known.
Click Search.
BuildSA returns all
matches found in
the database.
Click the Record
Number to view
Record Details (#1
shown).
The Record Details
page displays

To view the
Record’s
Processing Status,
click Record Info
drop-down menu
(#1 shown).

Process Status displays

Green check marks indicate
a task is completed. The
hour glass indicates the
task is active. A gold star
simply means the last task
opened for viewing by
someone.
Tasks without a green
check mark, hour glass or
star indicate an inactive
task.
To view task
information on an
active task (indicated
by the hour glass).
Click the arrow to the
right of the hour glass.
View comments.
If a plus sign displays
(+), click the + to
expand and view
requirements needed
for the task.
Click the Payments drop-down menu arrow (#1 shown) to view
Application Fees.
Click View/Fee Details (#2 shown). Application Fees page displays
(#3 shown).
