STATUS OF PROJECTS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT – DISASTER RECOVERY (CDBG-DR) • Allocated funding amount: $19,989,000.00 • Federal Register has not been released. (Internal Review by HUD) CDBG-DR Action Plan preparation
• Used for "Necessary expenses related to disaster relief, long term recovery, and restoration of infrastructure, housing, and economic revitalization."
• Disaster-related in that it clearly demonstrates a connection to addressing a direct or indirect impact of the disaster
• Meets the City’s unmet needs • Meet a National Objective Provide a benefit to low- and moderate-income persons Aid in the prevention of elimination of slums or blight Meet a need having a particular urgency.

• Category A PW complete and submitted to FEMA • Two Project Worksheets obligated Canal engineering Emergency work
• Nine draft Project Worksheets in internal review • Two RFQs issued on Canal project • CDBG-DR direct allocation, $19,989,000 • Established list of 404 mitigation opportunities • Distributed voluntary acquisition letters for property
acquisition 41 voluntary interest forms have been received
• City Code Enforcement is addressing safety hazards with fencing, property cleanup, and boarding-up houses and buildings
• Updated City’s Recovery Program website to include reporting and financial dashboard
