As the oldest wine-growing region in Western Australia, the Swan Valley is renowned around the world for its first-rate varietals and lush landscapes.

Transport options include car, train, charter bus or even boat.
The region is highly accessible by car via the main entrance roads of Great Eastern, Reid, Roe and Great Northern Highways, as well as Gnangara and Toodyay Roads.
From the City or Airport, interstate and international visitors can enter the region through the historic Guildford township, via Great Eastern Highway. Hire cars may be collected from the airport terminal. As the region is geographically compact, it is only a short drive between most locations and attractions.
For a hassle-free transport option, arrive in Guildford or Midland by train on the Perth to Midland line, an approximate 25 minute journey from the City centre. To keep your group together hire a charter bus, or for something unique arrive in the Swan Valley by boat. You will find transport operators listed in this publication under complementary services.
