Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division puts you into the swing of things this summer with approximately 200 locations throughout Toronto. Courts are open from April to October (weather permitting) Courts are divided into two categories: • Public Sites • Community Club Sites. Public sites are designated by circle numbers. They are completely free and available to the general public at all times. Nets are provided by the City of Toronto. Participants are requested to line up and play for half hour intervals. Players must vacate these courts “on the hour and half-hour unless otherwise noted”. Community Club sites are designated by the square numbers. Club sites have 4 free prime time hours for the public to play during the week. Please confirm the hours of access at your club location as they vary from site to site. Non members could be asked to pay a non member fee to access community club sites. Membership information can be obtained at the site or by accessing tennis on the City of Toronto website at www.toronto.ca/parks It should be noted that Community Tennis Club courts are owned by the City of Toronto and operated by a not- for-profit Community Tennis Club and its volunteers. Clubs pay an annual permit fee to the City and through membership and non member fees upgrade and maintain the, court surfaces, clubhouse, nets, windscreens and lights. Clubs encourage the growth of tennis and provide programs and organize events for their members.
