A summary of the actions of the community plan update is as follows: Certification of EIR. On June 29, 2016, the City Council certified the Final EIR as found in Council File No. 16-0597 (Exhibit I) for the West Adams-Baldwin Hills- Leimert Community Plan Update in compliance with CEGA and Notices of Determination were filed by the Department of City Planning, as required by the Public Resources Code and CEOA Guidelines. 1. General Plan Amendments. On June 29, 2016, the City Council adopted the General Plan text and map amendments as found in Council File No. 16-0597 (Final Exhibit E) to: (a) the West Adams-Baldwin Hills-Leimert Community Plan (Land Use Element); (b) the General Plan Framework; and (c) the Mobility Plan 2035 (Circulation Element). 2. Implementing Ordinances. On March 7, 2017, the City Council adopted the following three implementing ordinances as found in Council File No. 16-0597: (a) the West Adams Community Plan Implementation Overlay District (Final Ordinance No. 184794); (b) the Crenshaw Corridor Specific Plan Amendment (Final Ordinance No. 184795) and; (c) the Zone Change and Height District (Final Ordinance No. 184796). 3. Effective Date. The General Plan Amendment Resolution Documents (Final Exhibit E) and the three implementing ordinances (Final Ordinance Nos. 184794, 184795 and 184796) are effective as of April 19, 2017. 4.
