• 1st Stage: F. Muñiz (infections), B. Udaondo (gastroenterology), M. Ferrer (pulmonary rehab). Unification will take place in the area of the Muñiz Hospital.

• 2nd Stage: J. A. Penna and Dr. T.Alvarez.

The unification will allow hospitals to share main services.

Relocation of the City administration

Waste management The collection of urban solid waste is regulated by CEAMSE – a tripartite entity formed by the national government, the government of the Province of Buenos Aires and the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.

• Buenos Aires’ City: 5000 tons of waste daily.Disposal of waste mainly in landfills in the outskirts of the City nearing the limit of their capacity.

• Law 1.854 – Progressive removal of landfills. “Cero Waste” program.

PROGRESSIVE REDUCTION OBJECTIVES(basis: 2004 = 1.497.656 tons of waste sent to landfills)

• 2010: 30% • 2012: 50%• 2017: 75%• 2020: Prohibition of the final disposal of

recyclable and usable materials.
